It has been a scorcher of a summer so far, and it doesn’t look as if we’re going to be experiencing rain in Broadstairs any time soon.
So I thought it would be nice to put together five of my favourite pieces of designer outdoor furniture for you to enjoy, and to inspire you with your garden furniture projects.
Air Collection by Manutti
Bringing your indoor space outdoors has been made even easier with these beautiful pieces of furniture. I particularly like the Blue Ice collection, but the Manutti Air also comes in white and charcoal.
You can even transform the seating arrangement so that the Manutti Air can be used as a sunbed. This is easily done as it’s constructed of lightweight powder-coated steel, Iroko (an exotic wood) and in places (the table tops) aluminium.
Tokyo Pop Daybed by Driade
If you’re looking for outdoor furniture that is stylish, modern and has a look that stands out, the Tokyo Pop daybed designed by Tokujin Yoshioka for Driade would be ideal. I found the daybed above on LoveTheSign.
There is also no need to worry about storing the furniture away at the end of the day, as the daybed is made of polyethylene, a durable waterproof material.
Daniel Pouzet Swingrest By Dedon
What I would do to be relaxing after work on one of these Dedon Swingrests, this peace of heaven can even be purchased with a fabric cover, to shade you on those hot sunny days.
Topaz Collection by Skyline
Living by the sea can have its problems when it comes to outdoor furniture, but not only do I love the look of the Skyline Topaz collection, I found out that it’s made of weather resistant material, unlike many other fibrous pieces of outdoor furniture.
This is due to the award winning environmentally friendly fibre Virofiber, that you can find more about here at Viro
